Publicity Mailing has acquired a new 10,300 SQ FT Distribution facility.

Based in F5/6 Calmount Park, the facility will act as Publicity Mailing’s Distribution centre, with holding facilities in Galway, Cork, Waterford. The investment has lead to the creation of 7 new office based positions.

Publicity Mailing, one of the largest direct mail distribution companies in Ireland has become the first company in the country to utilise GPS technology to enhance the door drop medium. The technology, supplied by Safecom uses Global Positioning and mobile phone technology to track distributors’ position to within 5 metres and updates positions continuously to a monitoring centre situated in their head office. The technology will allow them to better plan, execute and monitor their distribution campaigns, while for the first time clients will also have real time access to the roll out of their campaigns by logging into the client area of the publicity mailing website (www.publicitymailing.ie). They have also commissioned the rollout of 10 new fully branded vehicles and introduced a staff uniform for their staff of 120 distributors. In total this represents an investment of over €500,000 and underlines their commitment to enhancing the direct mail industry in Ireland.The company has been in operation since 2004 and has quickly grown to become one of the largest direct mail distribution companies in Ireland.
